Ownership of "Westtoure" in 1316

Edward III commissioned a national survey in 1316 detailing land ownership. Hampshire is one of only a few counties for which the survey survives.


The Hundreds of Ringwood and Christchurch are of the Lord King, but Margaret Queen of England holds them in name by gift and there are in the same Hundreds the Vills following, namely:
